Brian Rennick - Principal Solicitor
Brian, an LLB graduate of University of Galway has been a commercial solicitor for more than 30 years. He advises on all aspects of corporate transactions and commercial property. Having established a solid client base in the Property Development, Food, Retail, Wholesale and Hospitality Sectors, he advises on commercial contracts, licencing, franchising and distribution agreements. He also advises on corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and shareholder agreements.
Brian represents a number of large and medium sized companies in the construction, property development and facilities management sectors.
Brian has had a lifelong involvement in Gaelic games as a player and administrator at County and National levels. As well as his involvement with Meath County Hearings Committee, he is currently Chairperson of the National Central Appeals Committee of the GAA (GAA National Committees 2024-2027) He previously chaired the National Central Hearingd Committee (2021-2024), The National Central Appeals Committee (2018-2021) and the National Child Welfare Appeals Committee. Brian has also been involved as an Arbitrator with the Disputes Resolution Authority (DRA) since its foundation in 2005 when he adjudicated on its first case.
Damien Browne - Solicitor
Damien heads the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice, bringing deep experience and a results-driven mindset to every matter he handles. He advises and represents clients across a wide spectrum of commercial disputes and general litigation. His area of expertise and experience include financial services litigation, shareholder litigation, insurance defence and professional negligence litigation, defamation and personal injury law and construction litigation, and employment law claims.
His academic credentials include a BA (Hons) in Business and Law Degree, a Barrister-at-Law Degree, an LLM in Commercial Law, and a Diploma in Arbitration.
Yvonne Brogan - Solicitor
Yvonne is a senior member of the Commercial Property team at Rennick Solicitors and leads the firm’s commercial property work.
She has over 15 years’ experience in property law, advising on a broad range of complex transactions including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and refinancing arrangements.
Yvonne has particular expertise in managing property transactions from instruction through to completion and is known for providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice to clients.
Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from University College Dublin and a Diploma in Commercial Property.
Matt Rickard - Solicitor
Matt Rickard, was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in February 2025 and works closely with clients to provide practical and straightforward legal advice across a range of matters.
Matt works in the private client department of the office while also assisting in company secretarial matters for our commercial clients. He takes pride in building strong client relationships and is known for his approachable and professional manner, attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Outside the office, he has a strong interest in various sports and also plays hurling with his local club, Kildalkey GAA.
Conor Dempsey - Solicitor
Conor joined Rennick Solicitors as a Trainee Solicitor in 2019 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2023.
He specialises exclusively in Commercial Property, advising a diverse range of clients on all aspects of the acquisition and disposal of commercial property. Known for his keen attention to detail and sharp analytical skills, Conor guides businesses, investors, and landlords through complex property transactions from initial instruction to successful completion.
Outside of the office, Conor is a passionate sports fan and an active member of his community, regularly playing for his local club, Dunderry GAA, in both football and hurling.
Brian Foley - Consultant Solicitor
Brian worked as a corporate solicitor with Eversheds before joining the firm. He has 15 years experience advising clients operating in the tech, logistics, agri-business and waste management industries. Brian advises clients at all stages of the commercial life cycle from start-up through to growth and consolidation through exit.
He advises on equity investments, M&As, corporate sales, shareholders’ agreements, distribution, franchising and other commercial contracts. Brian also advises on e-commerce, intellectual property and data protection issues.
